To start off with, this thing is big (horizontally, NOT vertically). So make sure you have room for it. It has lots of different things to entertain our cat (and for her to scratch on). Overall it's been a hit. As for build quality, It hasn't fallen apart yet/cat hasn't been able to break it yet, so I guess that's a good sign?

My cats are high energy. I have two kittens and they want to go everywhere and do everything. New enrichment opportunities keep them busy and the household somewhat sane. This scratching post/golf table seemed perfect for them.

It was incredibly easy to assemble. The directions were a little confusing, but if you've ever put something together from that Scandinavian store, you'll do just fine!

The felt tip has not only been used to sharpen paws, but has become THE place to sleep in the sun. The various little enrichment toys weren't the big draw, though they expressed some mild interest, but then they were done and fighting for supremacy on top.

kitty is quite spoiled and we always give him filtered water with a fountain.The water here is quite nasty from the well and the flowing water encourages lots of drinking. I was honestly surprise it holds so much water. He typically drinks 18 ounces a day. I know because of how often i had to refill it. This does not need refilled as often. I love how it has 1 filter so his hair does not circulate and get caught too close to the motor, making his water always fresh.

The cats love it. Have been using it about 3 weeks or so now. Battery lasts for a week before needing charging. The cats love it. Easy to clean, change the filter and you can see when it’s running low on water.

I bought this as a gift and now I want one for myself! I have a pet fountain and thought it was great until I got this for my niece's new kitty. I am so jealous now.
